Jessie Abarques
Hi everyone! My name is Jessie Abarques and I am currently a senior here at CSUN, majoring in Public Relations. After graduating, I aspire to become a part of a comic or entertainment company such as Lebron James’s Springhill Company.
As your President for the 2021-2022 school year, I look forward to bringing students and professionals together, allowing all of us to achieve our goalsand truly, as Lebron James would say, “Strive for Greatness.”

Beatriz Barros Felice
Hey guys! My name is Beatriz Barros Felice, but I go as Bea. I am a transfer student, also a senior at CSUN! I am from Brazil and I am really proud of it. I have a passion for writing and interacting with people so journalism is the career that I can have those passions together. I am the VP for this next year 2021-2022 and I hope that our members have the best experience with the club. My experience on journalism goes from The Sundial, On Point, MatadorNews, a magazine from my old university in Brazil, and my YouTube channel. Be tuned because CSUN RTDNA will be amazing this year!

Teruko Morishita
Hi, my name is Teruko. I'm CSUN RTDNA'S Marketing Director. I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Public Relations. I have a passion for telling stories, as they are an essential part of the human experience. They’re a part of how we communicate, learn, and connect with one another.
I believe that what will determine how successful you are will be the passion you invest in going for it.
In my free time, I love going on adventures and going on long bike rides in my hometown of Santa Clarita.

Vanessa Garcia
Hi, my name is Vanessa, and I am a senior at CSUN majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Musical Theatre. I am an anchor for the Latin Alt 88.5 KCSN and currently manage the newsroom as an Editorial Assistant. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I plan to further my education and attend graduate school for a master's in Broadcast Journalism. I am working to pursue a career as a multimedia journalist or a sports sideline reporter. In my free time, I like to film and edit vlogs for my personal YouTube channel.

Cynthia Puga
My name is Cynthia Puga and I’m the club’s new Communications Chair! I’m currently a senior working on my bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. I started CSUN in 2015 as a Radiology major, but soon realized writing was something I was very passionate about. I then took a gap year and switched my major in 2018 to Journalism and haven’t looked back since.
I enjoy going out to the movies, trying new hobbies and making new friends! Don’t be afraid to say hello if you run into me on campus or any of the other RTDNA club members!

Alexia Mersola
Alexia is currently a Senior at California State University Northridge majoring in Broadcast Journalism in hopes to become a multimedia journalist and news producer one day. She has had a few internships under her belt ranging from all types of journalism: print to broadcast. She most currently worked as a Production Intern for a podcast that interviewed guest on their day to day jobs and how they got to be so successful in their careers. Her goal as a journalist is to strive for the truth and to help the voiceless be heard. She is currently on the hunt for more internships in hopes that she can get a job right out of college wanting to go wherever the wind takes her.
